Easy 30-Minute Baked Beans with Bacon

- 1 lb ground beef - 2 cans Bush original baked beans - 6-8 hickory smoked bacon - 1 cup dark brown sugar - 1 cup chopped green onions - 1 tbs Worcestershire - 1 tsp black pepper - salt to taste

- Large saute pan - Measuring spoons - Measuring cups - Kitchen shears - Casserole pan

Step 1

- Preheat oven to 400 F

Step 2

- Brown ground beef and drain the fat - Add brown sugar, Worcestershire, green onions, salt, and pepper

Step 3

- Drain and discard the liquid from the top of the canned baked beans - Add to ground beef and gently mix

Pro Tip

- Careful with the mixing - over mixing can cause the beans to get soft and mushy

Step 4

- Cut bacon in 1" squares - Pour ground beef / bean mixture into casserole dish - Lay strips of bacon on top

Step 5

- Baked uncovered for about 30 minutes - Turn on broiler and broil for 5 minutes or until bacon is nice and crispy

- Serve and enjoy!
