Cast Iron Skillet Peach Cobbler

Easy, homemade peach cobbler is made with fresh, frozen, or canned peaches, cinnamon, vanilla, and sugar.  The buttery crust bakes up sweet and crisp.

Add peaches, sugar, flour, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, lemon juice, and vanilla extract to a large bowl and toss to combine.

Transfer to a greased cast-iron skillet and spread evenly. Sprinkle the brown sugar on top of the peach mixture. Bake for 10 minutes.

While the peaches are baking, make the dough.  After the peaches have baked 10 minutes, top them with the dough.

Sprinkle dough with sugar and return skillet to oven to bake for another 10-15 minutes.
