Three Layer Chocolate Cake

- All-purpose flour - Butter - Sugar - Cocoa powder - Eggs - Vanilla extract - Powdered sugar

Blend the butter and sugar until creamy. Blend in the eggs and vanilla extract.

Whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

Whisk the unsweetened cocoa powder and boiling water.

Add dry ingredients and hot cocoa water to the butter and sugar mixture, alternating between the two.

Evenly distribute the batter into 3 cake pans.

Bake and then let the layers completely cool.

Make the chocolate buttercream frosting.

Add the frosting to the cake layers!
