Fresh and crispy Asian Cabbage Salad (Slaw) can be served cold or warm. The peanut sauce boasts a traditional spicy taste, enhanced with a delightful blend of sweet and citrus flavors, which perfectly complement each other and unify the dish.

SALAD INGREDIENTS

– shredded coleslaw mix – shredded carrots – sliced red bell pepper – sliced green onions – fresh cilantro, chopped – chopped peanuts – white sesame seeds – canned Mandarin Oranges

PEANUT DRESSING INGREDIENTS

– peanut butter – rice vinegar, sesame oil – sriracha sauce, soy sauce – honey, lime juice – ginger paste – minced garlic – juice from Mandarin oranges

Mix together the coleslaw mix, carrots, bell pepper, green onion, and fresh cilantro.

Over medium heat, combine and cook the peanut butter, vinegar, sesame oil, and sriracha sauce in a pot.

Add tamari or coconut aminos, honey, lime juice, ginger, garlic, and reserved liquid from the mandarin oranges. Whisk together and simmer for a couple of minutes.

Drizzle a small amount of warm peanut dressing over the coleslaw mix and toss.

Top the slaw with peanuts, Mandarin oranges, cilantro, and sesame seeds. Serve extra peanut sauce on the side.
