Easy Red Beans and Rice with sausage!

This quick and easy 20-minute Red Beans and Rice with Sausage is thick and creamy with all the NOLA flavors everyone loves.  Made with canned beans - no soaking required!

INGREDIENTS

- Smoked sausage - Creole cream style red beans - Pinto beans - Onion, bell pepper, and celery - Olive oil (or bacon fat) - Cajun seasoning - Garlic, basil, parsley

How to Make It

Brown the sliced sausage in a skillet.

Add the trinity (chopped onion, bell pepper, and celery). Use the frozen version to speed things up.

Add Blue Runner Creamy Creole Style Red Beans, pinto beans, and seasonings. Stir.

Cover and gently simmer for 5 minutes.

Serve with hot cooked rice and hot sauce! French bread or cornbread go great, too!
