Peach Cobbler Pound Cake

This old school peach cobbler pound cake is made from scratch and uses canned peaches so it's easy to put together.

With peaches in the middle and peaches on the top!  This cake is rich and moist with two special glazes.

KEY INGREDIENTS

– all purpose flour – granulated sugar – eggs – sliced peaches & their juice – butter – oil – Mexican vanilla bean paste – ground cinnamon - baking powder and salt

Prepare the cake batter. Reserve 2 cups of the batter. Pour the rest of the batter into the cake pan.

Add a layer of sliced peaches.

Pour the 2 cups reserved batter on top of the peaches and bake as directed.

Add a layer of sliced peaches on top of the warm cake.  Pour the hot brown sugar glaze over the cake.

After the cake has completely cooled, pour the cinnamon powdered sugar glaze on top!   Two glazes means double the flavor, double the yum!
