These homemade pancakes are quick and easy to make, light and fluffy, have a sweet banana flavor, yummy chocolate chips with every bite, and have the perfect hint of cinnamon!
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon in a bowl.
Peel the bananas and cut in large chunks. In a separate bowl, add the bananas and mash them with a fork until smooth.
Add the egg and milk to the bananas. Slightly whisk.
Add the flour mixture. Slightly whisk.
Lastly, add the butter and chocolate chips. Slightly whisk. Try not to overmix -- overmixing will cause the pancakes to not be fluffy.
Place about ¼ cup of the batter for each pancake onto a hot griddle and cook for 1 to 1-½ minutes per side. Repeat until all the batter is used up.
