Welcome to My Kitchen Serenity!  Thank you for visiting!  I’m excited to share with you this Keto Chocolate Mug Cake recipe!  Why?  Because it’s a quick & easy, moist, sweet, rich chocolate treat that’s ready in a flash.  We love sweets at our house!  So why not have a sweet treat that’s low carb and keto friendly like this one!

Keto Mug Cake

This easy keto dessert contains 9 ingredients, which you probably already have most on hand.  The recipe uses Swerve sweetener.  What is Swerve?  Swerve is a natural sweetener; the main ingredient is erythritol.  According to the Swerve website, “Swerve is a delicious natural sweetener that measures cup-for-cup just like sugar! Swerve is made from ingredients found in select fruits and starchy root vegetables, and contains no artificial ingredients, preservatives or flavors. It’s zero-calorie, non-glycemic and safe for those living with diabetes, since it has no effect on blood glucose or insulin levels. Swerve provides excellent baking and cooking functionality – it can even brown and caramelize!”

I discovered Swerve a couple years ago and I always have some on hand.  I’ve used it for baking and also in my coffee.  Since it measures cup for cup just like sugar, it’s very convenient as there are no conversions to figure out before baking.
