Wide Egg Noodles - as you know, I'm the biggest rice fan, but for this casserole, those tender creamy egg noodles fit the bill! Don't get me wrong, I love me some pasta, too!
Canned Cream Soups - yes, yes, I like to use cream of chicken soup and cream of celery soup for this particular casserole. These ingredients are legendary for this dish because of the ultra creaminess they provide.
Sour Cream - adding sour cream to the soup mixture adds a nice little twang and a touch more richness. It's similar to my Poppy Seed Chicken Casserole that everyone rants and raves over!
French Style Green Beans - what makes these canned green beans a little different is that they're julienned (or cut into thin strips). They're tender and add just the right amount of salty flavor. You could use corn instead for a sweeter flavor profile,

- ¼ cup milk I use 2%
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes to release the flavor, rub the parsley flakes between your fingers first
- ½ teaspoon poultry seasoning sodium free
- 1 rotisserie chicken, skin and bones discarded. Meat shredded or chopped into bite-size pieces
- 8 oz wide egg noodles, cooked and drained 8 oz is the dry weight measurement. use a scale for best results
- 1 cup freshly shredded cheddar cheese
- 14.5 oz canned French style green beans, drained
- 2.8 oz French's crispy fried onions

How to Make Ultimate Chicken Casserole
- Preheat the oven to 350F. Spray a 9x9-inch casserole dish with non-stick spray.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the soups, sour cream, milk, parsley flakes, and poultry seasoning until well blended.
- Stir in the chicken, noodles, cheddar cheese, and green beans. Give it a good stir to make sure all the ingredients are blended together. You can do a taste test and add more seasoning. Note that when you add the fried onions in the next step, they'll add a good amount of flavor to the casserole.
